This is the first time that Guangxi's marine production value has exceeded 150 billion yuan and that its growth has surpassed the national annual growth rate of 2.4 percent.

The Bulletin shows that the overall marine industry in Guangxi maintained steady growth in 2018. Among them, the education management service industry has developed rapidly, with an added value of 16.8 billion yuan, an increase of 17.5 percent over the previous year.

In recent years, the Guangxi Ocean Department has implemented high-quality development requirements, focused on the task of building a good sea economy, and planned the development of the marine economy scientifically.
