The launching ceremony of the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Licensed Commodity Cooperative Plan and official online stores was held in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Jan 2.

The cooperative plan will allow more outstanding companies and products to participate in and integrate into the CAEXPO. It will be a powerful aide for enterprises as they improve their operations and build their brands and a strong force for integration of online and offline resources. It will also establish a good supply-demand relationship with consumers, and meet people's demand for quality goods and services.

Fan Longhai, deputy secretary-general of the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, said at the launching ceremony that the CAEXPO is committed to promoting commodity trade between China and ASEAN countries. The cooperative plan was established to make better use of the brands and platform resources of CAEXPO to create more cooperative business opportunities for enterprises with ASEAN countries.

At present, the official platform for CAEXPO licensed products has opened online shops on the three major e-commerce platforms in China: Taobao, JD.com and Weidian. The platform is actively introducing special products from ASEAN countries. So far, some Vietnamese products have officially launched on the platform and dozens of Burmese special products are under discussion.

Next, the platform will build online commodity pavilions for China and 10 ASEAN countries, increase efforts to introduce high-quality specialty goods from various countries, and provide consumers with convenient and reliable purchasing channels.
