Qin Rupei, executive vice-chairman of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, conducted an investigation of the region's digital construction at the Guangxi Natural Resources Department on June 1.

Qin listened to the introduction on related work, such as the application of the Beidou Navigation Satellite System, as well as satellite remote sensing data acquisition and application. He also learned more about the construction progress of the digital Guangxi platform, including the online natural resources map, the smart audit system, "Internet plus" real estate registration, and UAV emergency mapping.

Relevant work achievements, such as the development and application of the data resources, the construction of the China-ASEAN Information Harbor, as well as the construction of the Guangxi convergence media platform, were also introduced to Qin during his visit to SunEee Microchain Technology Development Co, China-ASEAN Information Port Co, Guangxi Daily, and other places.

He noted that the construction of the digital Guangxi platform has made significant progress in many aspects, such as platform innovation, enhanced functions, and improved accuracy. It is necessary to make full use of the advantages of platform and technical support to further strengthen the application of digital systems in Guangxi, he said.

Xi Yang, director of the Guangxi Big Data Development Bureau, said that the bureau will promote big data in helping administrative approval, optimizing government services, and supporting the development of enterprises in the digital economy.
