The Nanning International Logistics Single Window Service Center, an integrated innovative platform for international trade and the first physical center of its kind in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, was officially put into use on July 1.

The total investment of the "single window" project is about 60 million yuan ($8.49 million), and it is being implemented by the Guangxi Airport Management Group. The project is located in Terminal 2 of Nanning Wuxu Airport, with a construction area of 11,820 square meters and a main building with four floors. Its main purpose is to serve as a business and service center for import and export cargo declaration, international freight processing, as well as customs declaration and supporting services.

The service center has also set up multiple business windows for cargo collection and transportation, extraction, customs clearance, inspection, as well as administrative license approval and filing.

Air cargo, especially international cargo, in the Nanning airport has maintained steady growth in recent years. From January to May 2020, Nanning Wuxu Airport Customs supervised the import and export cargo volume of 2,684.89 tons, an increase of 169.2 percent year-on-year, as well as dealt with a total of 2,690 customs declarations, an increase of 57.5 percent year-on-year.

The opening of the "single window" service center will further improve customs clearance efficiency and the level of trade facilitation. A large number of customs declaration enterprises, international freight forwarders, and international logistics companies will settle in it to handle import and export customs clearance business more quickly and efficiently.
