Free coronavirus testing will be available for every resident in an effort to contain the ongoing outbreak, Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor announced Friday afternoon.
The testing will start in as soon as two weeks. The announcement came as the city is expected to drastically enhance its testing capability with the aid of mainland experts.
A team of seven, the first batch of a 60-member medical team from the mainland, arrived in Hong Kong on Aug 2.
