The first batch of China's Sinovac vaccines arrived at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Thailand on Wednesday.
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was there to receive the vaccines in person.
Prayut will be jabbed with the Sinovac vaccine first, said Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and the Public Health Minister of Thailand.
The Prime Minister said earlier that he has enough confidence in China's vaccines and that China, willing to share vaccines with Thailand, is a true friend to his country.
