Guangxi bags two silver medals on first day of national weightlifting competition

Two women weightlifters from Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region won two silver medals on Sept 16 in Shaanxi province on the first day of competition for weightlifting at the 14th National Games.
Jiang Huihua bagged a silver medal in the women's 49 kilograms weightlifting event with a total weight of 213 kg after all categories of snatch and jerk. The gold medal went to Hou Zhihui of Hunan province, who has just won the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Yu Linglong claimed the silver medal in the women's 55 kg weightlifting with a total weight of 223 kg, placing second after Su Tingting of Sichuan province.
