Overseas exhibits will be able to continue their exhibition and sales at the China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange after the China-ASEAN Expo for the first time this year, officials of the CAEXPO Secretariat announced on July 26.

Preferential taxation policies will be available for imported exhibits in the China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange, while one-on-one matchmaking activities will be available for overseas exhibitors interested in signing more purchase and cooperation agreements.

The 19th CAEXPO will take place both online and on-site in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, from Sept 16 to 19. It will have five themes, covering commodity trade, investment and cooperation, advanced technologies, service trade, as well as the charm of cities and countries.

Exhibition areas for ASEAN and RCEP countries will be set up for the first time, showcasing the images, distinctive products, and cooperation projects of participating countries. Currently, design plans of the exhibition areas for Vietnam and Laos have been completed, while Malaysia and Thailand have started selecting enterprises to participate in the event.

Enterprises of nine countries alongside the Belt and Road, such as Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, France, Nepal, and Iran, have confirmed their attendances and will bring products like food, agricultural products, wine, as well as handicrafts.
