In order to prevent the further spread of novel coronavirus pneumonia and ensure effective tracing of the travel paths of suspected cases, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has decided to implement a smart registration system for people traveling in and out of public places.
From 12 o'clock on Feb 18, people in the entire region who enter public places can report their travel history and health conditions online on a WeChat mini program by scanning QR codes.
Registration QR codes will be posted at the entrances to places with high mobility, such as residential communities, markets, shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, hospitals, pharmacies, as well as public transport places like subways, buses, airports, train stations, and passenger stations.
Managers or business owners of public places can search and download the program through WeChat search and print QR codes in accordance with the program's prompts. The codes should be posted at prominent positions and special guidance will be arranged.
Individuals can register through the QR codes, with no more registration of personal information required after the first verification.
