Envoys from the consulates general of ASEAN countries in Nanning including Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam toured Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on May 25, in order to learn more about the city's efforts in Party-building and anti-corruption.

When they visited Nanning Rail Transit Group, envoys experienced a metro operation simulation system to get a close look at Nanning's achievements in metro line construction.

The envoys all spoke highly of Nanning's urban development and the efforts it has been making in terms of improving people's lives, noting that they are willing to help boost communication and cooperation between Nanning and their home countries.

Virasack Somphong, the consul general of Laos in Nanning, said during the tour that the Communist Party of China (CPC) has led China through rapid development and expressed his sincere congratulations on the Party's centenary.
