Fresh litchi was given to students as a Children's Day gift on Monday at Beihai Second Experimental School in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

For six consecutive years since 2016, students and teachers have received the warm gift when the fruit is ripe. It comes in a custom box, on both sides of which are written the words "gratitude" and "sharing", along with the school's motto: "Make people feel warm because of my presence" on top.

In addition to litchi, students also receive plums, mangos, jackfruit, longan and other fruit when it ripens.

The school hopes that when the children taste the litchi, they will be grateful and understand what it means to enjoy the benefits of the hard work of their predecessors.
