The exhibition area for overseas exhibitors at the 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is 20,000 square meters and will provide 905 exhibition booths for 397 companies, officials from the CAEXPO Secretariat announced on Sept 6.
The scale of exhibition booths during this year's event expanded by 13.4 percent year on year.
The total exhibition area for 10 ASEAN countries amounted to around 12,000 sq m, which remains the same as last year. A number of 238 ASEAN countries will showcase their advantageous products at 575 booths, which include food, agricultural products, daily chemical products, handicrafts, furniture, consumer goods and tourism services.
The exhibition area featuring the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will cover around 8,000 sq m, gathering 120 companies from countries including Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, France and Italy to display exhibits at 287 booths such as food, beverages, stones, jewelry, handicrafts, furniture and cosmetics. The exhibition scale of the BRI exhibition increased by 25.3 percent year on year.
