The opening ceremony of the Laos Pavilion at the 18th CAEXPO was held on September 11 at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. The year 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue between China and ASEAN and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Laos, with Laos serving as the CAEXPO's Country of Honor for the third time.
This year, the national image exhibition area of Laos and its commodity pavilion were set up in the same exhibition hall, displaying the national image and special commodities of Laos. A total of 22 leading Lao enterprises and institutions participated in the exhibition, with a total of 54 commodity booths showcasing five categories of advantageous products in Laos, including agricultural products, food and beverage (tea and coffee), handicrafts (silk, cotton textiles, silver jewelry), furniture and wood carving products, and tourism products.
