The promotion fair for tourism resources of Hebei province, the guest province of honor at the 2021 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition, was held in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Oct 15.

The 2021 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition, held by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, took place in Guilin from Oct 15 to 17.

Hebei, an important part of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, has devoted great efforts in developing tourism industry and will host many events of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

Wang Rongli, deputy head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hebei Province, said that ASEAN countries have long been an important tourist resource market and hot destinations for Hebei residents. Hebei has taken an active part in the previous China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibitions and has benefited a lot from the event.

Distinctive cultural tourism elements representing Hebei such as the Great Wall and winter sports were showcased at the exhibition and videos and images were displayed to let visitors learn more about the province.

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Hebei Province and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed an exchange and cooperation contract during the event to jointly boost the development of tourism in both Guangxi and Hebei.
