The 2021 Rowing Master Regatta kicked off in Guilin's Pingle county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Oct 30, gathering over 500 competitors from all over China.

Over 30 rowing teams from prestigious companies and universities such as Kingdee Software, Vanke, BMW, Peking University and Tongji University participated in the event.

The two-day competition set up a total of six categories such as the master group, the professional group and the teenage group.  

Other activities such as an attractive water sports performance and a 6.6-kilometer joy run were also held over the past weekend.  

The section of the Lijiang River in Pingle county is wide and the water flows gently, making it an ideal place to hold various kinds of water sports events.
