China and Cambodia have a long history of friendship and China is a sincere friend of Cambodia, said Dimanche.

It is the preliminary task of the province to maintain public order and safety, the deputy governor added and he thanked China for jointly compiling the province’s public order plan.

He also hopes China promotes more Chinese investment in Preah Sihanouk Province as the local COVID-19 pandemic mitigates.

During the meeting, Hu congratulated major achievements the province made in various fields and thanked the provincial government for its support of work conducted by the Chinese side.

Meanwhile, Hu said he hopes Preah Sihanouk Province to continue to crack down on crimes against Chinese civilians so as to create a safe environment for Chinese enterprises and people who invest in, travel to and live in the region.
