The Guangxi section of the 2022 National Science and Technology Week, as well as the 31st Guangxi Science and Technology Week and Guangxi Innovation-driven Outcomes Exhibition, kicked off on May 21 in Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
This year's event, which runs until May 28, was the first of its kind to completely replace traditional on-site exhibitions with online ones, providing guests with a brand-new online viewing and consultation experience.
This year's Guangxi Innovation-driven Outcomes Exhibition has an 11,000-square-meter virtual exhibition space, featuring over 1,000 advanced and new projects from over 500 enterprises and institutes.
Among which are Liuzhou Wuling Automobile Industry's engine and motor key coupling technology and the 5059/5383 aluminum alloy plate technology for high-end vessels.
Visitors at the science popularization area can not only view exhibits such as cartoons and games, but also participate in a livestream to learn together with the commentators for a more immersive experience.
Other events planned for the event include a launching ceremony for the Guangxi Sci-tech Outcomes Transformation and Transfer Comprehensive Service Center, a signing ceremony for venture capital funds, and themed promotion fairs on innovative fintech's contributions to the big health industry.
