Government officials, prestigious experts and scholars, as well as internet elites from China and ASEAN countries gathered at the 3rd China (Guangxi)-ASEAN AI Summit, which was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Sept 23.
The summit included a main forum, an investment attraction promotion event, as well as three sub-forums focusing on artificial intelligence technology, smart education, and cloud intelligence.
Qin Rupei, vice chairman of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, noted that Guangxi has been taking an active part in establishing the AI innovative platform and widening AI's application scenarios, laying a strong foundation for the mutually beneficial relationship between Guangxi and ASEAN countries.
Officials of Cambodia, Thailand, as well as Laos delivered video speeches during the event, noting that their countries are willing to deepen cooperation with China in AI and digital economy.
An exhibition showcasing the latest outcomes in developing AI achieved by Guangxi cities and enterprises was also set up at the venue.
