A freight train loaded with 200 tons of fruit and vegetables is leaving for Xianning, Hubei province from the logistic center of Guilin West Railway Station on Feb 7. It is the third chartered train of groceries from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The train is packed with 190 tons of eight kinds of fruits and vegetables including oranges, radishes, and cabbages, 100,000 'luo han guo', a Guilin specialty, as well as 3,000 self-heating lunchboxes.

The donation, which includes quality products from 20 enterprises, planting associations, and agricultural cooperatives of counties (cities and districts) in Guilin, is expected to be delivered to communities, medical facilities and welfare institutions across six districts and counties in Xianning.

In light of the market demand in various parts of Hubei province, Guangxi will continue to run two trains a week to support Hubei with fruit and vegetables.
