On the afternoon of July 25, a delegation of Lao and Vietnamese envoys to China organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P.R.C. visited the Baise Executive Leadership Academy.
The Academy is an autonomous region-level education and training institution for executives directly under the CPC Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Located in Baise, a former revolutionary base, it was opened on December 11, 2016. Under the principle of "based in Baise, serving Guangxi, facing China, and connecting ASEAN", the Academy provides courses on revolutionary traditions, research on Deng Xiaoping Theory, party spirit, history, and conduct, as well as studies of national, regional and social conditions. The Academy acts as an important base and practical training platform of Guangxi for talent exchanges and cooperation in executive education and training between China and ASEAN.
The Lao and Vietnamese envoys visited the Academy's education and training venues, the history center, and the archives exhibition of "patriotism of Chinese Communists". They also had discussions with the Chinese representatives and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Academy for hosting the education and training programs for Lao and Vietnamese executives.
During the talks, the representatives of China, Laos and Vietnam reached a consensus on consolidating the friendly ties among the three sides, exploiting each country's geographical advantages, tapping into historical resources, and further enhancing the cooperation in executive education and training, and exchanges of party history learning experience during this critical period of building on past achievements and striving for new progress.
