A delegation of more than 30 representatives from Guangxi-based enterprises left for Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore on Jan 5 for a 10-day economic and trade exchange and promotion campaign.

The delegation was arranged by the Department of Commerce of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and is expected to participate in over 20 events.

The delegation will visit local government departments managing economy, trade and industry to learn more about the investment policies and the business environment. It will also introduce Guangxi's foreign-trade and foreign-funded enterprises to deepen mutual economic and trade cooperation.

The delegation will meet up with several business associations in the three countries to look for new cooperation opportunities while accessing local market demands and carrying out discussions on pressing issues such as current industry environments, industry standards and trade development.

Promotion fairs will be held to establish face-to-face exchanges between enterprises, aiming to ink more deals and cooperation projects, such as PSA Singapore.

The delegation will also pay on-site visits to local ports and industrial parks such as Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia and Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park.
