Guangxi restarts outbound travel, first tour group to Thailand departs on Feb 6

On February 6, China made its first attempt to restart outbound group travel. 159 passengers of the first outbound travel group took the GX8907 flight of Beibu Gulf Airlines from Guangxi to Bangkok, Thailand.

The flight goes between Nanning and Bangkok, operated by Beibu Gulf Airlines with flight number GX8907/8. There is now one round-trip flight every Monday, which will be increased to four flights every week in March and now has been opened for sale. It departs from Nanning at 19:30 and arrives in Bangkok at 21:45; it departs from Bangkok at 22:45 and arrives in Nanning at 00:50+ (Beijing time).

Nanning Airport now has resumed international passenger routes to five ASEAN cities including Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila, with 13 planned flights a week. In the future, the routes to the capitals and key economic cities of ASEAN countries such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Jakarta, Yangon, and Vientiane will be gradually resumed.
