On June 7, the "ASEAN Media Partners" Group that came to learn from China’s modernization drive visited Jiwodu Village and Heji Farmstead, to experience the beautiful landscape and the fruitful results of rural revitalization there. When ASEAN friends reached Jiwodu village, a charming picture of harmonious coexistence between man and nature slowly unfolded before them. At the sight of the village's clean and spacious roads, as well as its uniformly designed houses, all of them praised Guilin's remarkable successes in rural revitalization. At Heji Farmstead, located on the bank of the Taohua River in Guilin, the ASEAN friends attentively listened to the environmental protection concepts and main measures regarding low-carbon agriculture. They also personally experienced the unique agricultural ecological tourism by grinding soy milk, making dried beancurd sticks, and tasting water chestnut cakes.
